Servo Full Rotation SM S4303R
The SM-S4303R from SpringRC is a standard-sized servo designed specifically for continuous rotation, delivering speeds of up to 70 RPM at 6 V. It is the strongest continuous rotation servo in its class, offering 4.8 kg-cm (67 oz-in) of torque at 6 V. Built with dual ball bearings on the output shaft, it ensures smooth operation and reduced friction.
This servo is simple to use, requiring only a single microcontroller I/O line for control—no additional electronics needed—making it ideal for beginner robotics projects. The rest-point adjustment potentiometer allows easy fine-tuning of the stop position.
Control is achieved through standard RC servo pulses:
-
1.5 ms = rest (adjustable via potentiometer)
-
Pulse width > 1.5 ms = counterclockwise rotation (speed increases with width)
-
Pulse width < 1.5 ms = clockwise rotation (speed increases as width decreases)
(Note: behavior is reversed compared to the official datasheet.)
