his Small Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) from Interlink Electronics changes its resistance when force or pressure is applied. It has a 0.16" (4mm) diameter active sensing area. With no pressure applied, its resistance is greater than 1MΩ, while under full pressure it drops to about 2.5kΩ—the harder the force, the lower the resistance.
The sensor includes two 0.1" pitch pins, making it breadboard-friendly and easy to integrate into projects.
FSRs are simple to use and ideal for detecting pressure or touch, but they are not highly precise. They work well for detecting presses, squeezes, or force changes, though they are not suitable as accurate weighing scales
