The R307S (1000 Prints) Fingerprint Module integrates an optical fingerprint sensor, a high-speed DSP processor, a robust alignment algorithm, and large-capacity FLASH memory for reliable biometric identification. With its simple structure and stable performance, it supports fingerprint entry, image processing, template storage, matching, and searching.
The module offers both TTL UART and USB 2.0 interfaces. It can connect directly to 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers such as ARM and DSP, while a level converter (e.g., MAX232) is required for PC connections. The default baud rate is 57600 bps (configurable via communication protocol).
Users can configure the module in 1:1 verification mode or 1:N identification mode, making it suitable for a wide range of embedded security applications.
Pin Detail:
1 5V - Regulated 5V DC
2 GND - Common Ground
3 TXD - Data output - Connect to MCU RX
4 RXD - Data Input - Connect to MCU TX
5 TOUCH - Active Low output when there is a touch on the sensor by a finger
6 3.3V - Use this wire to give 3.3V to sensor instead of 5V
