LCD Display 20X4
The 20x4 LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) module is a widely used electronic display unit, ideal for a variety of embedded and electronic projects. It can display 20 characters per line across 4 lines, with each character formed within a 5x8 pixel matrix, making it suitable for text, numbers, symbols, and even custom characters.
Compared to seven-segment or multi-segment LED displays, LCD modules are more versatile, economical, and easily programmable. They allow for the display of special characters, user-defined symbols, and simple animations, offering greater flexibility in design.
This module operates with two registers: Command (for instructions) and Data (for characters). It features a standard 16-pin interface, making it easy to integrate with microcontrollers, trainer boards, or breadboards. Simply solder a set of male header pins for straightforward connectivity.
